Update Your SSO ID: Change Mobile, Email & Personal Details
Changed your phone number, moved to a new address, or noticed a typo in your name? Updating your Rajasthan SSO profile ensures you never lose access to your account and keeps your future recruitment applications perfectly accurate. Here is how to edit your details online.
Why keeping your profile updated actually matters
It is easy to ignore your profile settings until something breaks. Keeping your contact details current is the only safety net you have.
Your SSO ID is the master key to everything from eMitra services to RPSC and RSMSSB recruitment exams. If your registered mobile number is outdated, you will be completely locked out of the Forgot Password and recovery tools if you ever forget your login details.
Updating your information now—while you still have access to the dashboard—takes two minutes and prevents a massive headache later.

Step-by-Step: How to open the Update Profile form
There is no separate app to download for this. You can make all changes directly through the official Rajasthan government web portal.
-
Log in to the portal
Open your browser and sign in at
https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/signinusing your current SSO ID and password (or use Meri Pehchaan). -
Open the apps menu
Once you are on your main dashboard, look at the top right corner of the page and click the grid icon.
-
Select Update Profile
A drop-down menu will appear offering options like Change Photo, Change Password, and more. Click Update Profile to open your digital form.
What you can change (and how to do it)
The form handles different types of information in different ways. Some fields you can just type over, while sensitive details require extra security.
Basic Text Fields
You can easily change your Name, Display Name, Postal Address, Postal Code, City, and State. Just click on the text box, type your new information, and you are good to go.
Secured Fields
You cannot just type in a new Mobile Number, Email Address, or Sanstha Aadhaar Number (SAN). You must click the small pencil (edit) icon next to the field to unlock it.
Locked Identity Fields
Your Jan Aadhaar ID, Aadhaar Vault reference, and old SSO IDs are pulled directly from your official identity records. You cannot manually type or change these on this screen.
The crucial step: Changing your Mobile Number or Email
Because these are used for password resets and official government alerts, the system requires you to prove you own the new contact method.
1. Find the field
Find the Mobile Number or Email field on the Update Profile form.
2. Click Edit
Click the pencil (edit) icon right next to it.
3. Enter new details
Enter your brand new mobile number or new email address.
4. Submit the form
Scroll to the very bottom of the entire form and click the Update button.
5. Confirm with the OTP
The system will immediately send a One-Time Password to the new mobile number or email you just entered. Type it in to verify and save your changes.
Government Employees & Recruitment Details
Your profile is what feeds data into your job applications and employee portals.
State Employees
If you recently became a government employee, you will need to update your Sanstha Aadhaar Number (SAN) or employee code using the pencil icon so your profile links correctly to Shala Darpan and your official state dashboard.
Job Applicants
Before you start filling out a new RSSB or recruitment form, always check this profile page first. The exams pull your basic data from this single sign-on profile. Fixing a typo here prevents errors on your exam admit card.
